Lenten Option

Well, it was a slight oversight for the Dinner and a Show not to include a fish option for dinner on a Friday during Lent. To correct this error, we are now going to offer your choice of beef, chicken, or FISH! If you need to purchase tickets, see the form at the bottom of the flyer.

Dinner and a Show

In order to raise a little money for the music that we have at the market each week, we are having a fundraiser on April 15, 2011 at Ball Creek Bowl in De Soto. The Dinner and a Show will include a lovely meal and music by various farmers' market musicians. In addition to the great music, there will also be a silent auction. The cost is $20 if you purchase your tickets in advance. Please get in touch with Debby Campbell to purchase your tickets and make your plans: 636.586.4570. If you'd like to post this flyer at your place of business, we would appreciate your help in advertising the event.

Joyce Rainwater, with Lincoln University, will be presenting on Organic Gardening on April 13, 2011 at noon for a Get Healthy De Soto Healthy Lunch and Learn. The cost of the workshop is $7 and includes a tasty lunch. It will be held at St. Andrew's UMC, and you should call the church office to make a reservation: 636.586.2472.

March 1st Workshop-POSTPONED

This evening's workshop is being postponed. It will be rescheduled, but an appropriate date has not been found yet. Karen Davis, our speaker, is stuck out of town with cancelled flights and won't make it back to Missouri today. We will let you know when the workshop will be rescheduled, as I know many of you were looking forward to it. Please spread the word.
